Ames Electrical has represented Moeller Electric since June 1969. Historically the Mining Sector was the Division’s main customer but over the years has designed and assembled Switchboards & Motor Control Centres for the Sugar Estates and the Manufacturing Sectors of the economy. The facility based in Bulawayo, incorporates a Sheetmetal Fabrication Shop, Wiring & Assembly Shop and Paint Booth where all design and assemblage of Low Voltage Switchboards, Motor Control Centres (MCC’s), Panels and Starters take place, which is a recognised standard in the Mining Industry. All Boards are fully tested prior to delivery. On-site Power Correction Services are carried out for customers systems, which are designed and built to accommodate specific customer requirements. Additional products offered by AMES Electrical include Low Voltage Switchgear such as Contactors, Circuit Breakers and Overload Relays, as well as a range of Electrical Test Meters and Earth Leakage Protection Relays. We also supply the Ghisalba range of products.
